Hyoscyamus niger is a plant that grows almost everywhere in Europe. Name of the plant derives from Greek words "húos"-pig and "kúamos"-bean. In ancient Greek literature it's known under the name Apollinarix - the plant of Apollo. It was also called dioskyamos - bean of the gods.
