@DavenTylerFultz @IsabelleAmponin @KinglyRed @Ontarioku @Minybeats_VA <3 Ah, my babies.
So, here's a cheat. The OPPOSITE effect.
I first heard @BenjaminDiskin (technically) as Young Xehanort, as KH is my being. And it stuck out so much for being... dark. DARK. XD
And now Ben's work is following me (and my roommate, which hurts his soul) everywhere. <3 Amazement.
Wanna know my favorite thing about Tales of Berseria? Easily @CristinaVee as Velvet.
I listened to her early fandubs back in the day. And she has come SO FAR. Velvet is the villain in some sense. But she can also be the Hero. And there's so much depth. Same with Homura Akemi!
@GreyDeLisle is a voice of my childhood, playing Frankie Foster and Yumi.
But her most complex role, one of my earliest exposures to a true villain... Azula from Avatar.
Ho-ly smokes, Azula was amazing to the very end. Her development stands out in my head so much, even now.
I can't do a thread like this without @JustChrisSabat. This man has so much range, and SO MANY of his characters start as villains, then become anti-heroes or just heroes, like All Might!
This spot goes to Vegeta. 6 year old me was enamored by him. He was fear in a small body.
@iantweeting is someone that I feel does no wrong.
He's a flawless Brook, a fun and surprisingly scary Whis...
But the best role of his for me? Berkut from Fire Emblem: Shadows of Valentia.
I can RAVE about this role forever. And I did in a blog post. I LOVE Berkut. So much.
@MaxMittelman took my heart as Ryuji Sakamoto in Persona 5. I usually see him as the sweetheart, the rebel of gold.
Then Shigure Rangetsu appears. And I am so enthralled by his nonchalance and subtle *bigotry?*... that I didn't recognize it was Max.
PLAY MORE VILLAINS, MAX.
@robbiedaymond grew on me. I first heard him as Sorey in Tales of Zestiria. Sweet, innocent.
Then Persona 5 rolls in, and he's Goro Akechi. Knew immediately he was the villain. And I was NOT disappointed in that depth.
THEN WE MEET HUBERT. And I am ruined. Forever. YES.
