The 1958 movie Screaming Skull was loosely based on a 1908 short story by Francis Marion Crawford. Crawford wrote several novels and other works but was known for his supernatural fiction. M. R. James praised Crawford as he was influential to many writers after him #WyrdWednesday
Andy Everson is a K'ómoks artist, well known for his Indigenized Star Wars art. Recognizing the irony of his images on imperial uniforms, such as a trickster raven Darth Vader, Everson hopes more people will become aware of Indigenous cultures.
