A is for Anzu
I've a hankering to do a full colour dinosaur A-Z, so thought I'd start at the obvious place.
It's a spring dawn and, in a blooming Hell Creek meadow, a young male Anzu's mind turns to love.
A4 markets and pencils. Original available.
Gas Giants
A3 markers, pencils, pastels
A pod of purrgils slumber in the clouds of a gaseous moon orbiting a gas giant. They are illuminated by a nearby ice moon.
Done for fun after seeing purrgils in the new Mando series. This was inspired by images sleeping sperm whales.
It's #DragonAppreciationDay so here's my dragon!
The concept wasn't that dragons horde gold for wealth but to eat, heat and weaponise into a molten form.
It's #PortfolioDay so please allow me to introduce myself! I love all things prehistoric, fantastic and comicy!
Primal
A4 (8 x 11.5in) private commission. Pen and colour fineliners. Was fun to do!
Pieces I did this year that I was really happy with. I was very pleased with the Chupacabra at the Amexica wall and the female werewolf enjoying her transformation. I was also happy with how the dress turned out on the grieving gothic mother. And my first unicorns!
Neanderthal girl out scouting.
A4, pen & ink. Private commission
Part of an Ice Age series, it is inspired by the books Kindred by Rebecca Wragg Sykes and The Smart Neanderthal by Clive Finlayson. I also gave her some anti-glare charcoal smudges beneath her eyes.
