July is a writing month, but I’ve been decompressing with some light #dtiys efforts. Playing with fun color palettes is very soothing.
The final mers of MerMay 2021! These three are the main characters from my Inktober comic series. Revisiting them (and drawing them in color for the first time!) as I think about the final chapter for October... 🤔

Recent mers — I drew the two different types of sirens (bird and fish), then changed up some brushes and tried some new things ✨ #mermay #mermay2021
More mers from the last week, including some Mother’s Day mermaids and their kiddos

MerMay Day 7: a quick and soft #dtiys to reset my brain after 6 days of intense black linework (scale fatigue lol). Original by artsyainsley on Insta. #mermay #mermay2021
In March, we draw robots. I wasn’t feeling the official prompts for this month so I just played around... and this robot chicken resulted lol
A friend and I were talking about much we love Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra, so I whipped up a quick #SixFanarts of my faves from the Avatar universe ☺️
(Yes, all three of my firebending husbands as well as bisexual queen Kyoshi are represented!)
This was one of the most fun #dtiys challenges I’ve ever done — the original art is by a friend of a friend’s 6yo! Would love to do more interpreting of kiddo creative art. #drawthisinyourstyle
