30. "Are you serious? Maybe you are wealthy, "daddy's girl", but for me it is hard to make ends meet." Helen reprochs.
"Ok, ok" Rebecca accepts. "Nothing so tasteless as money..."
29. After a tense silence, Rebecca finally says:
"Do you know what? If you are so sure of your superior skills as a bard... Why not make a bet about who of us will earn more money in tips after our performances? The audience will decide who is the best in this way.
28. "But you know what, ginger? What I really think is that you insult me because I get over you artistically a few times in the last lustrum despite not being rich or having superior education. In other words: you're jealous of my greater and greater talent."
27. "Hey, this hostility isn't necessary!" Rebecca alleges. "I was trying to start a civilized conversation..."
"Ha, "civilized", you say!" Helen laughs, sarcastically. "Since you know me, you have looked down on me for not composing according to your academic guidelines".
26. "So, beyond the good pay, aren't you excited for the historical event?" Rebecca finally says after an awkward silence.
"Of course I am amazed by the union of Asmens and Lanun! Only a fool wouldn't be interested in something that is gonna change everything geopolitically!"
25. She is Rebecca, one of the best bards of Asmens. In front of Helen, who is self-taught, Rebecca learnt her trade by the college.
Those opposed styles (and their pride) have caused a great rivalry between the two artists, trying each time they encounter to surpass the other
24. "Oh, Helen, it's you," says the red-haired woman, disappointed and annoyed.
"Rebecca!" shouts Helen, surprised and irritated. "What are you doing here?"
"I suppose the same as you: play for the Princess in her wedding."
23. While Helen is concentrating on composing, an unexpected voice comes from behind the oak.
"Another bard in the wedding? How delightful!" the voice says, animadtley, near and near. "Let me greet you properly, face to face..."
22. And the bard, after sitting beside an oak, unhooks her lute and begins to play it gently, with the Princess in her mind, looking for a melody that suits Alonso's praises.
21. After chatting with Alonso, Helen strolls around the area until she finds the royal gardens.
"What a bucolic landscape!" she thinks. "In such a beautiful location, being inspired will be easy".
