Working on a new piece! 🦁🐑💛

I'm still in the composition/layout phase using #procreate, but this one will be a large scale graphite drawing if all goes according to plan 😄

(Also, this drawing will be a part of an upcoming Kickstarter that will launch a months from now 🤫)

'Always' For #inktober 2016, Severus is one of my favorites. When I was #hogwarts age I had awful insomnia and my dad came up with the solution of playing the audiobook CDs thru the night to relax my brain to sleep. Even as a grown up it still helps and is so special to me ☺️

Baby Mandril in ballpoint from 2011! Was #inktober a thing then? I remember drawing this while volunteering for a professor in my last year of college the year I started dating my husband @Vinylpengu ☺️

Is there work in your portfolio that timestamps something special for you?

#inktober '16. At 8 months pregnant I was so proud of myself for finishing tiny 2x2" drawing. It's one of the few older pieces I still really enjoy. Somehow this one got me my first job in food packaging too 🙃

Have you ever gotten -really- unexpected results from your work?

These good bois were from #inktober '16 and were a pivotal piece for me. In my first professional portfolio review by Karla Ortiz at a workshop in Montreal this was the first piece she complimented with the encouragement to keep at it and saying she'll probably see me around

WIP! A sort of subconscious pt2 of the previous eel piece 'Release' that earned me my first industry recognition right after my 1st👶 came. This one's coming 4mo after👶2 arrived!
