@utkcinemaclub [PROCESS] A week ago I'd gone ahead and quickly sketched up some ideas for this movie / Do The Right Thing, since I wasn't sure who would win.
I ended up grabbing the dried-out browns and greens from the left poster for the final piece.

Each section was created in separate layers, then spaced out in 3D to create a parallax effect. Here's what it looks like without the rocky ridge and big trees blocking the way!

got on a pokemon kick thanks to #PokemonSwordShield , here's some recent doodles of friends (both real and imagined)

@utkcinemaclub [PROCESS] I went on and built the checkerboard spiral, and then realized the hole in the middle where I'd stopped was interesting. From there, I got the idea of an 'eye' peering down from the cabinet skyscrapers (this film DOES lift a lot from 1984, after all)

Next Monday we're showing Something's Gotta Give at @utkcinemaclub ! I have no other way to say this film will be good other than "Diane Keaton, Jack Nicholson, and Keanu Reeves rom-com-dram from the director of The Parent Trap".

Wasn't exactly sure where to go with this one starting out. I had a bunch of loose ideas, largely centered around her face (since it's so visually striking) and a ritual of some kind.
(Side note: III of Swords in tarot is the card for heartbreak)
