an Interesting Thing i learned when i was looking back at my DDLC GGA:

It's better to do animation smears like the one on the left instead of the right - merging frames together instead of using jagged lines makes it way more seemless and less noticeable

of COURSE the one time i feel like i've got the hang of perspective is the shot right before a blowie
