The technique here is a combination of traditional painting and 3D art. The old and the new. The background is painted similar to the original painting with many dots and textures. The foreground is 3D but with a twisted perspective. Flat, a way to combine the 2 techniques.

This artwork is of two portraits of the same person: one looking at herself from the outside. What does she see? Does she like what she sees? The woman in the water cannot see the bigger picture. She is focused on swimming, on living.
