old battle screen, new colors, still very wip

still hard at work on Bardsong, just shy about sharing my progress. that said, drew some trees and bushes for a woodsy area a little while back and I'm still happy with how they look c:

you play as [insert name here] and do things like befriend socially awkward ghosts and use your pet rock's magic powers to copy monsters' abilities and encounter all manner of weird stuff that one normally finds in a community college.

@zerobeat032 Far from streamlined, but lately I've just been doodling characters in a discord call with CSP and if we all like them I then start shrinking them to size in aseprite to get a rm2k3-friendly face portrait. For field sprites I attempt to draw anything resembling them w/ templates
