Trying to get inspired while on the clock. Takuji Kawano's work on Soul Calibur has been a huge source of inspiration for me since I was a kid. His illustrations get more intricate with each game, but if you look closely, you can see it's an imperfect sketch with great rendering.

finally getting some clothing concept work done! I was inspired by Yasuke's design in the upcoming anime, as well as Isane from Bleach. Her belt is kente cloth and her beads will have an African/Japanese mix too!
