This was a completely non-deliberate side by side but hey, I love it! Raven was such a fun build—taking flat colour animated layers and recreating them in a way that worked for a live-action feel!

To be able to really embody these characters in such a narrative way is one of my favourite things about cosplay! The idea of Loki learning magic from Frigga, but also using it differently, is such an important part of their relationship.

Tried a quick-ish Zuko makeup test! I didn’t have my latex on hand so the scar blending is iffy, but other than that I’m pretty happy! #Katsucon

A week before Katsucon and suddenly I just want to start working on my next Loki cosplay (a Ragnarok concept art by Aleksi Briclot)

Am I up took late testing Éowyn makeup? Yes yes I am.

Her face has absolutely nothing in common with mine and it’s very frustrating but I think I’m getting close. 😆 #Eowyn

Folks, Éowyn is DONE and ready for Katsucon!

I’ll talk more about the process later, but she clocked in at 164 hours of work, 75 of which were embroidery!
