@Rumwik They really got the hang of it in G3+, the GB games had a lot of limitations, and GF was still getting used to making GAMES, let alone graphics. Anyway, here's an example of colored lines with a Ho-oh I was using as reference for making G4 themed sprites!

Re-worked Gutsy a little! Colored in that sketch from a while ago to try out the binary pen on medibang mobile. Worked pretty ok!
I'm fairly indecisive but here's his new colors vs. his old ones. I just turned him super pastel, lol.
