Chu Wanning truly believed that it is impossible for anyone to love him. He never cared about other’s opinion of him or that people didn’t like him. He was content in being alone. He’s satisfied in leading a good life, being kind not expecting anything in return. Heartbreaking.😿

It must’ve been liberating for Chu Wanning to fawn over Mo Ran gege. 😭 I’d like to think he never truly entertained the idea of being with Moran, just that he’s always been fond of him. Yet the warmth, kindness & friendship Moran shared must’ve impressed him, making him proud 😭
