@andro526484339 it’s a bit sad too though because it’s one of those things where it’s like okay…he did it and he did it well even if it’s weird but then you see him without them and you cry because he looks better. i don’t want to tell him to shave them off but…
like i’m okay with these existing because they helped me get to where i am in art rn but i did not have fun drawing them. i hated every second of it because i had no idea what i was doing and i just didn’t get it.
i do not think a year ago i could picture myself drawing this stuff it’s just crazy like. there’s something there. it’s not perfect but there’s someone with something to say and someone who can and wants to improve behind each one.
even these are from the later second half of 2021 and i’m still searching for something. i just have no idea what i’m doing or how to do it and the struggle was intense. i liked semi realism but hated it at the same time because there was no freedom in it.
looking through my “old” art (since the art in question is only from the beginning of 2021) and especially paying attention to the dates is so weird because my art just like. changed one day and something clicked and it started being way better for no reason.
