Instead of inking individual hair strands, I draw the hair mass as a whole and develop the shadows and highlights almost like woodblock cuts

Areas where joints bend or skin folds are inked

I wanna keep my coloring to mostly flats with some rim shadows and highlights only on metallic or plastic parts

there's a specific style i wanna lock down and it's bothering me bc i can't get it right

i need to do some drills to make it consistent, but i'm not sure how i should go about it

Fun fact: this was originally meant to be Rachel from Ninja Gaiden but it became Savage Land Rogue

If X-Men were Pokemon, Savage Land Rogue would be a shiny variant

this is my favorite look for her, but this pose is too static for my liking
