When designing a character, it's important to tell a story through their looks. Things like personality traits and background stories, family resemblances, and everything else that's relevant to that character.

This is the Draw Over I worked on during yesterday's stream! The idea was to push the scale to emphasize the perspective in the scene and bring more action to it.

Facial expressions are incredibly important to show emotions, specially when it comes to animation! A good trick is to exaggerate on the eyes, eyebrows and mouth, to provide a clear message of what the character is feeling.

Having a four legged friend is great! Not only you can have a lot of fun and good company, but you can also observe them in their ways, and use it as your study if maybe you're interested in learning animal anatomy for drawing!

I've been playing DnD, and guess who's the character I've created for my adventure? Otta! He's a Giant Octopus who has the ability to embody the soul of any living creature it bonds with.

This one shows a size comparison between Yam, Uther, the baby bat and the giant bats.
I also did a few sketches of expressions exploration!

The point of this one is to show how a static shot locked off works. It’s very commonly used, but it can be applied in a variety of ways. I chose to show characters going through the scene to show that any time a camera is still, it’s considered a static shot.
