Todays lighting experiment is the mari opening the dark to bring in the light

Todays mari is another lighting experiment, quite enjoying this and want to practice more..

After seeing the pics by Dan Gerhartz, I wanted to attempt it with a mari as you do. Mari’s dont have really anything under their sheets, just a stick. ;)

I did the mari based on the opalescent glass figures by Lucille Sevin. It was really challenging but nice to try.

I spent most of my evening working on this. Sorta a space like mari, maybe like a planet nursery or an aspect or reincarnation

I saw a picture of a moon being taken looking up through some trees and my brain wanted to try and bring some maris into that scene.

I suppose this is a gang of mari lwyds who have found someone who was unwilling to hand over some cakes.

Today its apparently the Wolf Moon today. Last year I missed out on doing a lot of moon themed pieces on the days of the moons. So here she is dancing in the moonlight.
