Yesterday I did this sketch and wanted to try and watercolour it. A ghost of Christmas future perhaps.

Whilst I was driving back I thought of this. It's a allegorical piece of moving into the light whilst the dark tries to drag you back. Any interesting effect is that because I dont clean my water pot very well, gold mica is visible with the black. There's light even in the dark

I went through my sketchbooks today and chose 6 mari lwyds I'm gonna be printing soon. I hope you like the selection and if you are interested in any please let me know :)

still experimenting with paint on mari lwyds at the moment. i am having fun with this style not sure where it will take me though.

I saw a stunning watercolour of whitby abbey but forgot to take a pic of the piece and artist name. But decided to have a go imitating it in these quick studies..
