Idk what's up but everything I draw/paint just looks washed out?

You know what it's probably because I just draw her in a 3/4 portrait facing left and like, spicy art I don't share. The spicy art always looks better because it's ref'd and posed nicely, and stuff like this looks so nice??? Art is wild.

Taru is my favourite OC and I love her to death but I struggle so so much with drawing her and keeping her face shape consistent 😭
