"Pierrot Le Fou" is universally recognized as the best episode of "Cowboy Bebop", right? If not, it should be.
Favourite weirdos from the last couple weeks.
The continuing influence of photographer Gregory Crewdson is one of my favourite things about modern horror film cinematography.
I've been listening to the podcast "Video Palace" on @shudder while i work and it's really fantastic. Check it out if you like haunted VHS tapes (who doesn't).
And on that note, apparently a lot of people have never seen the "Uzumaki" film adaptation! While not perfect (they didn't have a very big budget, so the wilder stuff from the manga is excised), it's beautifully shot, really weird, and extremely creepy. Absolutely worth seeing.
Has anyone heard of the film series "Gakko No Kaidan" (AKA Haunted School) that started in 1995? It's a kids series about chlldren trapped in an abandoned school fighting ghosts and yokai, and i NEED to see it. If anyone has any information on how to watch this, let me know!!
Stuck at work so i'm reading about cryptids in folklore from the Appalachian mountains, Colorado, other places. These mountain weirdos should be much more popular than they are. (The Tailypo, The Hidebehind and the Slide-Rock Bolter!) i should draw these guys.
I'd post that "What pokemon would i have" meme but i know what i'd get.
Help, i found a new photoshop brush i love. Enjoy these weirdos.
