Back in 2013 I did a version of Edgar Allen Poe's The Masque of the Red Death where the masked figure's robe is pulled away and he is revealed to be a creature who unfurls and sprays infectious blood covering the nobles.

Why's this story on my mind? Oh, no reason.

Well I'm heartbroken. My scanner has developed some internal flaw that creates lines across whatever I scan. I cleaned it as best I could, but it doesn't seem to be fixable. Poop.
