i liked George Mckays physicality in this (i rec him in True History of the Kelly Gang) but i dont think you can do a "species dysphoria" movie while totally ignoring furrys/otherkin lol also had some very obvious themes that, depsite being low hanging, were barely engaged with🤔

less space western but still sorta a scifi western is Sion Sono's PRISONERS OF THE GHOSTLAND! was really fun and campy and had some sick costuming and sets, lots of rly cool spectacle! nuclear waste gangs, mutants cults and Nic Cage getting his balls blown off LOL
