felt in an anime mood last night and was looking for obscure ones lol Earth Maiden Arjuna is rly unique and fun so far
we wanted to attempt to convey the weird and eerie mood we're going for. he used Times New Roman, the most well known font, and interrupted the orientation of all the letters in various ways. a graphic designer's nightmare lol! it was clever and very pretty but too subtle for me!
we have a lovely capsule interview up with @sexytuna today!
"This is what draws me to horror—that life can be unshakeably grim, but ultimately, it's really all in our head and how we choose to see the world."

And last of our artist inviteesq but not least, is @sexytuna!! another prolific artist with an impressive stylistic range! their color pencil pieces are rendered so cutely that the creep factor really sneaks up on you!! i love their work and especially their short horror comics!!
I came to @tncts through her comics but shes just as powerful a storyteller in single illustration as she is in sequentials! deft, delicate linework with a careful eye towards evocative compositions with rich palettes and really fun sense of design!
another longtime fan of this artist! @ghostsofcrows is super prolific and im always blown away by her surreal and eerie illustrations, especially her sketches and inked pieces which i find wildly inventive and visually striking 🔥very excited for this illustrator!
i was stoked to find @formyths, an artist new to me but who made an immediate impression! they have a quiet restraint to their illustrations, tense without an overt splashiness, and i love how much of an emotional effect their subdued scenes have!
