That's why when that very specific emotion is represented in a movie, manga, game or an anime, I tend to get so emotional and even cry sometimes
because when done well, when the narrative inevitably takes those things away from the character, it stings so much more.

It is also not a coincidence that Chainsaw, the devil hero most feared in hell, manifested in such a bubbly cute dog lol
I personally think that this is Chainsaw's real personality in a way, but everybody doesn't even give him a chance and instead tries to kill him out of fear
