Not much to gleam from the assistant credits pages as far as I can tell (especially since they all seem to be credited by last name only), but @MaxyTheBee and I are thinking Matsuura could be the same Kento Matsuura who eventually went onto Tokyo Shinobi Squad & Phantom Seer.

Looking forward to revisiting this…classic? Don’t think thats the word I’d use, but I remember thinking this one had potential back in the day.

Fun fact about Ep 19 is that you can find the exact same sea monster in Opening 11 of the show (Wonderland), where Katsura & Elizabeth are both eaten while running into the sea!

@debaoki I mentioned it when I was on last year’s Best & Worst Manga panel, but with how well Assassination Classroom has done for Viz (and hopefully Elusive Samurai), I’m always praying for Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro to finally come over! 😭

Its clear to me that I’m just going to have Yu-Gi-Oh! on the mind for a while due to today’s unfortunate news, so I thought I’d highlight a few podcasts for people to listen to for those who want to celebrate Takahashi’s legacy.

Not totally one to one, but Himeko gives off a bit of Akane energy to me.

Kanzenshuu is the thing that really reinvented my love of Dragon Ball and showed me how much more there was to the franchise. So to have @VegettoEX himself, someone I’ve been listening to for over a decade, come on our show was a huge honor and privilege. ❤️
