unlike bean dad, I believe sharing of technique is important. here are some good #pico8 color ramps you might find useful

of particular note, 9-4-2 is surprisingly good for wood, 7-6-13 is steel, 7-10-9 works well as gold and 1-0 & 2-0 work GREAT for massive backgrounds
