i made a couple of changes to both. having prematurely posted them made me see some huge issues which i fixed here.
Since this one will take a while to complete I'll be posting the figures before putting the scene together.
Here's the origami Fauna!
I really want to write a "support" character sometime and, looking from experience, it'll likely end up being a paper bunny.
I designed these characters in an attempt to create a fighter who fought close range and was not a glass cannon.
Apparently the solution was making a distance fighter who is a glass cannon as their companion lmao.
They're both living human-sized dolls.
the paper-making process is super fun, i really need to teach others how to do it too.
....wow in hindsight i really didn't do the doodle design well at all egh
she was imagined around the time this oc, Saturn, was designed
they both stemmed from the same conversation of "paper protagonists that would not require a 3D environment to 'work'."
The cute(?) Crumples is a scrappy raccoon with dreams of espionage. She camps out in trash bins, digging up dirt and picking up gossip. And no one can tell it's her because she looks like your average crumpled paper ball most of the time. She'll spill the beans... for a price.
She's Fizzy! She rises out of her puddle full of bubbles. The carbon dioxide expands her body, giving her depth. It seems to put her in a great mood.
It can run out though, becoming flat in more than one way. CO2 tanks can recarbonate her, though she doesn't bring any with her.
