I spent 2 nights photographing the California Nebula. I collected 58 800 second exposures for a total of 13 hours of data. I’m always so impressed by how much light pollution can be cut through to reveal objects hidden to our eyes, and this nebula is a prefect example of that.
I spent 3 nights photographing the Triangulum Galaxy. I collected 65 800 second exposures for a total of about 14.5 hours of data. I’m comfortable saying this has been one of the most difficult photos I’ve ever captured, but it definitely came out as one of my favorites.
I spent 4 nights photographing the Helix Nebula. I collected 59 800 second exposures for a total of about 13 hours of data. Considering the conditions I shot this photo through, I can’t believe how well it came out. The L-eXtreme really has a way of cutting through ambient glow!
Last night I started my photo of the North American and Pelican Nebulas. So far I’ve collected just over 4 hours of data.
Today is #PortfolioDay so I figured I’d share some of my work. My name is Brandon and I’m an amateur astrophotographer and artist!
Submitting my photo of The Andromeda Galaxy to a photo contest!🤞
I spent 2 nights photographing the Rosette Nebula. I collected 51 800 second exposures for a total of over 11 hours of data. I think this came out to be one of my best astrophotos ever. After the past 3 years it’s so exciting to see my images reach levels I’ve only dreamt of.
Last night I began my photo of the Rosette Nebula. I collected 5 hours and I’m loving it so far! I’m gonna try getting another 6 tonight.
