Last night I photographed the Horsehead and Flame Nebulas. I collected 29 800 second exposures for a total of close to 7 hours of data. I’m totally blown away by how this came out compared to last year. Also I threw in the red channel so you can really see that hydrogen alpha.
Instead of spending another night on the California Nebula I decided I’m going to move onto my photo of the Pleiades tonight. Here’s my final image! It’a just over 5 hours of data and I’m super happy with the final result.
I spent 2 nights photographing the Elephants Trunk Nebula. This image is made up of 42 600 and 800 second exposures for a total of a bit over 9 hours of data. It’s been a real pain to edit but I’m really happy with this result! It’s probably been my most difficult target to date.
@astro_jaz My favorite hobby. In order this is the Sadr Region, Crescent Nebula, whirlpool galaxy and Orion Nebula.
Last night I photographed the Sadr Region. I collected 30 500 exposures for a total of just over 4 hours of data. As my final image for at least a month I’m super happy with it. And again, I seriously can’t believe how much of that Ha my new camera and filter are able to capture.
Last night I got my first light with the ASI533MC Pro and L-eXtreme! I chose the North American and Pelican Nebulas to be my first target. Honestly I have no words. This is a picture I’ve only dreamt of taking for the past 2 years. I’m SO excited to use this new setup some more!
I spent 3 nights photographing the Whirlpool Galaxy. I collected just over 10 hours of data to create this image. I’m so happy with this result! I got so much more detail than I was expecting. I’m definitely looking forward to photographing more galaxies in the next few months!
