he has a bit of a mutual crush on earth. they both know about it and have been skirting around the topic for millions of years.

in his youth, jupiter nearly destroyed the inner solar system in jealous-fueled rage. however, before he went too far, saturn literally pulled him back kicking and screaming. nowadays, jupiter and saturn are best friends, with jupiter forever thankful for saturn's actions.

when he developed the great red spot on his stomach, his left eye went completely red. his vision is still fine (tho he does have trouble controlling the tear ducts in that eye), but he tends to cover it with an eye patch since it looks "creepy"

as a gas giant, he differs from the rocky planets in many ways. he has soft, cloud-like skin that reflects his atmosphere and storms. if you take his red gloves off, you'll see that his hands are actually strikingly blue!
