One thing I’m glad for is that there isn’t as much venom for the character as there used to be. The discourse is still NOT GREAT, but it’s eased up slightly. This cover I drew (and @dyemooch colored) was a flashpoint of sorts for the fandom at a certain time.

I never got to make the #BeastWars mini-series I spent (checks notes) maybe 5 years pitching? But being even a small part of this gigantic chapter of comics was amazing.

Naturally, I was vibrating with excitement to work with @jroberts332 (MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE) on SPOTLIGHT: TRAILCUTTER. This was another hilarious but slightly more introspective story, and I’ve been wanting to work with James again ever since!
