4/4 Weirdly, going back through these films, I'm noticing a lot of recurring themes -- bird-like critters flying around big airships, jewelry shooting lasers, distinct anti-war sentiment, weird little flying vehicles, floating girls, etc. Miyazaki knows what he likes. :)
Been feeling this wonderful piece of khajiit artwork from The Elder Scrolls: Legends in my soul lately, and I wanted to share.
If anyone knows the artist, please tag them in so they are properly credited. My googling skills have been stymied.
LRT, in case anyone was wondering. Awesome Red XIII tattoo based on an image done for me by @CaraidArt. Really impressive work.
@Insaneakitty My issue with that idea is that none of the other iterations of the character (action figures, various in-game models, Advent Children) have really shown this. Lean? Yes. "Strong hip line?" Yes. Hips and spine jutting out, with hip muscles completely sunken in? Not so much.
I'm interested to know what's up with the black lines on top of Red XIII's head near his ears. They almost look like more tattoos, but don't quite have the same texture as the ones on his shoulder. Did my boy grow some stripes for the remake? If so, very weird place for them.

Fun little piece I got a while back. Red XIII tries so hard to be stoic, so I thought it would be nice to see him just let go a bit and let the rhythm of the planet flow through him. Or something like that. Dance, Red, dance! :)
Red XIII, taking a snooze in a tree, the way only a cat can. He looks comfortable though, so more power to him. :)
Done for me by the talented @sassyparrot a few years back.

A more stoic portrait of Red XIII. I wanted something striking, that really lets you engage with Red and get a feel for his character, and naturally, Caraid did an amazing job on it. Really happy with how this turned out. :)
