Tonight I’m gonna follow up reading the Shadows of the Empire adaptation with the spinoff story, The Jabba Tape, which I remember reading serialized in the issues of Star Wars Galaxy Magazine. Art again by Killian Plunkett which improved leaps and bounds from the previous series.

I like this four armed guy and the Mon Calamari bounty hunter below him, which I don’t believe I’ve seen before. They’re almost always portrayed as good guys. (Issue 4)

I remember reading this at 12 years old being amazed that there’d be another character named Dengar. Then he was apparently retconned to be named Gunner Groth, but years later for the ROTS Visual Dictionary, the character Rothgar Deng is alluded to being the original Dengar…

I like Dodson’s portrayal of Jorus, he could’ve been played by Donald Sutherland based on this
