i spent way the hell too long on this but it was worth it because I love my boys 😌

First off: In Dross you play as the Pilgrim, a bug and a stranger to Soil’s capital. Everyone you encounter in the game, friend or foe, is also a bug.

@Simpathey Yup! Making Dross, an action/exploration game about using pieces of your foes and crushes to build a better bug. No promo stuff yet but here’s some bugs!

I use ProCreate Pocket and a narrow handful of brushes. I have a few self-imposed design rules, but they mostly center around trying to create a paper cutout-style look - not totally unlike Eric Carle or other children’s book authors

@king_bore_haha I’m making Dross, a game where you are a bug. You change skills by swapping in body parts from other bugs you defeat, and use them to explore new areas or gain new combat abilities.
