@franzanth Here are some bugs for my game Dross! You can mix and match pieces of bugs you kill (or impress) to change your skills and abilities.
@bedupolker obviously no pressure but I would be honored to have my many bugs for Dross rated
i spent way the hell too long on this but it was worth it because I love my boys 😌
I use ProCreate Pocket and a narrow handful of brushes. I have a few self-imposed design rules, but they mostly center around trying to create a paper cutout-style look - not totally unlike Eric Carle or other children’s book authors
@king_bore_haha I’m making Dross, a game where you are a bug. You change skills by swapping in body parts from other bugs you defeat, and use them to explore new areas or gain new combat abilities.
I don’t have a good recent gameplay reel but here are some of the bugs!
They say Augurs know the Empire’s plans before the Queen does, but this is a half-truth; they know everyone else’s plans, too. Whether they hear it all “through the pipes”, or they truly possess the gift of prophecy, is much debated.
Either way, it’s all for sale.

Paper Masks, the church’s inquisitor-surgeons, steal faithless and vagabonds into their secret tunnels, and search their shells and lymph and hearts for sigils of purpose or meaning. The countless leftover husks are worn as decorations, or brought to some deeper place. #DrossGame
Disloyalty is almost nonexistent among the Queen's Legionnaires, which makes the phenomenon of the Deserter Legion still more troubling. An entire corps sent to investigate the strange spores to the north now ceaselessly propagates them, heedless of their former responsibilities.
