AND THE SCARIEST PART. IS THAT BOTH OF THEM ARE TERRIFIED OF WHO THEY ARE UNDER ALL THEIR LAYERS OF PERFORMANCE AND FRONTS .

AND YET THEY STILL SEE EACH OTHER AND ACCEPT EACH OTHER. IT FEELS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE.

Two guys who have very similar fears, but bytcon doubled down on his ambition and jakkro gave up. and these two serendipitously collide at a party with mutual friends. IT FEELS SO REAL TO ME? two guys from two different worlds and yet they have SO much in common beneath it all.

THEY ARE PERFECT FOILS FOR EACH OTHER. Jakkro's complex is that ambition turns him into a monster so he acts like hes nothing, and bytcon would rather be an ambitious monster than be seen as nothing. ITS THE PERFECT SET UP.

then hallie and i start dating in 2022, and im dropping hints i want to build a gay story with Bytcon cuz hes my main guy. i jokingly offer jakkro cuz hallie knew i was crazy abt him. i pitched a concept for them to meet at one of vyr's house parties. drew this sketch quickly:
