Friendly reminder that Pike Queen Lucy in the Japanese anime was voiced by the same woman who did Bayonetta; while Masters' English VA is the same woman who voiced Satsuki Kiryuin.

Even though she's the only Alolan E4 member to never appear before you fight her, Kahili is my favourite. Unique typing for an E4 member, great personality and MY GOD she was underused in the Alola games.

She doesn't deserve to be ignored...*sigh*

Personally, the best Gym Leader has to be Flannery. A hot (GET IT?!) design, and her personality is very unique. Having a shy/inexperienced girl who tries too hard to be cool on the outside is amazing. Not completely dandere but she's fucking great.

She also runs a hot spring😍

Silver from Gen 2 is easily my favourite rival in the series thus far. The first true edgy rival, and the first rival with actual character development.

And he's even speculated to be the son of Giovanni. Go figure.

I'll talk about the best trainer/character overall later on, but if we're using the term 'trainer', I guess I'll throw in my favourite trainer class.

It's the Ace Trainer (Snow) lady from Gen 4, WHY HASN'T ANYONE DRAWN HER YET?!

On the other hand, G-Max Forms are fucking stupid. However, while Gen 8 mons aren't excluded (which Megas didn't bother doing except for Diancie), ALMOST EVERY FUCKING G-MAX FORM IS A GEN 1 POKEMON.

...but hey, Garbodor gets a G-Max. I love him.

As for the Galarian Forms, most of it is Gen 1 pandering AGAIN, but at least certain generations get some loving. As for Gen 5, nah, Stunfisk. But unlike with Mega Audino, Galarian Stunfisk is actually pretty alright in my books. He deserves more love imo.

Even though they all suck because Gen 1 soyboy/casual pandering, I love this design (too bad I was stuck with Sun so I couldn't get that mon). Other than that, I don't like the Alolan Forms.

Favourite Mega:

Hey, remember when the only Gen 5 Mega was given to a fucking Audino?? Yeah, that makes FUCKING sense. One of the few good things introduced in Gen 6 and they never brought it back. Fuck you.

Favourite Mythical:

Game Theory should waste 10-15 min on trying to figure out if this Pokemon was just a robotic Kabutops or something. Either way, this is probably the most badass Mythical in the series thus far.
