Playing with an art piece by @golddustdaemon - really loved her lines and I wanted to see them shaded! ...which I haven't done yet.
Still, I love the colors I pulled from her original and the sense of body weight her art captured. Looking forward to my next chance to work on it!
So now I have 5 or 6 thumbnails where before I had one. They all have different angles and different energy, and they all have a sense of life to them. And they're all CONSISTENTLY his face.
Some distortion, but nothing that can't be corrected.
Okay I ran a thumbnail through the wombo thing and found a really interesting art hack.
Beginning sketch is pretty basic - not very expressive, just trying to capture his features and refine shading. A little attitude but not much life or emotion.
Anyone else notice that Essek always touched his lips when he asked Caleb to go off and learn wizard stuff with him
