One of the many pieces conceived in the mid-2023 chest sketch batches. Was planning on doing it that summer as one of the first of my AL Boob series. Most of the outline was roughly drawn in one night and already looked very good but felt could be finished as a color rough later

(Conceived the night before I started work on the over-sized Akebono piece to test my limits [spoiler: too thicc for me]. Brought it back out as a two-session draw attempt, which worked)

From a somewhat throw-away sketch, used it as another attempt to try a rough drawing in two sessions... It took three as I couldn't help myself to clean up the lines some more and add shading

Anyway, Royal Fortune's event was in an October, so it's apropos for the season...

But then my mind thought "but what if the tiny girls in were the AL variants?" and sketched it. NJ is in there because "lul Iowa-class".
It's another piece that sat for a while, as being motivated is hard...

The idea came about one day 12/2023 when the KC drawbot account suggested Iowa, Honolulu and Kongo, and I conjured this situation in my head...
