@notlilacmelon yeah ! this is kinda a bad example, but like with this piece i added the halo/lines to frame the subjects so that it filled the space without being too distracting or completely white

@notlilacmelon WAIT YES I CAN IT WAS THIS ONE. even if its just a portrait i suggest adding effects/a border/a gradient, its simple bg stuff that still makes it look finished. place the character in the center if you want it to look more direct and off to the side if you want it to look distant
