Been playing Civilization V again and I've really loved the "Wonder" art in the game. Must've been really fun to paint historical spectacles like this.
I do the same, for the reasons I listed above (also I'm a bit lazy, but that's besides the point!) Here's some stuff 8-10 years apart from one another.
Anyways tl;dr, early art and WIPS are vital and it shouldn't be on artists to group-curate the dang platform they use.
Sometime in learning how to paint, I came across artists like Marek Okon and Johannes Voß. Both artists had, and still have, their old work sitting up alongside their newer work. Even today their progress inspires me.
