character design final. brief was superhero/villain, made a spooky light boy. got a lot out of the extended ideation & feedback process for this, there’s an entire final design i scrapped because i lost sight of what worked in the thumbnails
i’m finding i get better results & have less mental friction starting from shapes & silhouette than lineart these days. workflow for that one was silhouette -> rough block in for distance read -> detail & cleanup
#4styles made me realise i don't even feel close to settling on a consistent style & that's how i like it
