sayoko's hair is probably this one but i think chizuru's is new and not from an existing card - if the awakened is also the same one, i mean (and i honestly hope it is)

this picture was a challenge to myself, to not use any blending modes or adjust any colours at the end... i quite like how it looks without the line layer or the base colours layer

i drew this picture with the sole intention of posting this panel from this 4koma after it

there are a lot of different styles used in the cards and this is comparing that one specific style with this one specific style because they're both kind of similarly backlit situations, but part of it is just that it's much less muted in comparison maybe

the shading style on these recent cards feel really new (also others like megumi's sfy unawakened, etc), i'm not sure what exactly it is about them - the colour choices, maybe? the harder lineart?
