Okay!! Last concept I can share without big spoilers!! One of the other first drafts of the comic with some Haku and Neru! Unfortunately they won't appear in the first pages of the comic but I won't say they won't appear ever ~

And some more finished concepts you'll see in the actual comic! Shoki's final design changed a bit from the prototype Miku design. Oops. Plus two...mysterious characters that might look slightly familiar to anyone who followed my Miku blogs closely! And an unused title page!

The story itself went through almost 4 different variations before I settled on the current one! One of the ideas that got more developed was an idea that focused on the Vocaloids more as computer programs. They originally had mini designs and lived in little folder homes!

First is the title! Originally the working title was "Hatsune Stories" and it was going to be the official title before I decided on "Future Sound" as I felt that fit a bit better! Here's some of the original logo designs I made for it! I still like the logos a lot!

My friend and I recently started watching Ghost Trick together and I really liked Lynne so I wanted to draw this goofball detective! ✨
