Wow look at that, me finishing TWO pieces in one day! Although to be fair, I only spent a couple hours tops, for the sake of exercising other skills lol
@JellyEnvy Hi, I'm Cynthia and I like to draw cute things and also scary things (and sometimes a combination of the two)
I redid a piece I’d originally made MONTHS ago, but I didn’t like how it came out at all, so I’ve been on and off playing with it and seeing if it was salvageable, and I’m pleased now with it!
huzzah, I have girl with hooves! not even close to what my original idea was, but god i like this so much better. she came out SO. FLIPPING. CUTE.
initially I wanted to do my own spin on Bloody Mary, but I have a knack for not sticking with the original idea... it wasn't supposed to come out this way, but I must say, I'm quite pleased regardless!

Betobeto-san is a yokai that likes to follow travelers at night and gets his name from the “beto beto” sound his sandals make when he walks. You can’t see him but you can hear his footsteps as he follows close behind. Step aside and say “after you, Betobeto-san,” and off he goes!
The Teke Teke is a Japanese urban legend about a girl who is cut in half by an oncoming train, and now as an angry spirit she drags her half-corpse across the ground and making a scratching (teke-teke) sound, and will cut in half anyone unfortunate enough to cross her path.
I read a Japanese story once about a man who caught a mermaid and tried to serve it at a gathering, but no one would eat it except for his unknowing daughter, and upon eating the mermaid's flesh, she ceases to age and then becomes a priestess to do the world good for 800 years.
