The speakers are ABCD co-creators Jon Gray and Jamie Keenan and last year’s winners: Luke Bird, Michelle Brakenborough, Thy Bui, Sinem Erkas, Leo Nickolls, Jonny Pelham, Jack Smyth, and Yeonju Yang and Claudio Ripol, who will all talk about the how, why and what of ABCD.

Clare Walters will be with us 27 January speaking about ‘Telling Stories with Pictures’ giving us a fascinating insight in to her collection of wordless picturebooks and the power that pictures can have to tell complex stories without words.

On 13 Nov, @alicesavoie will be delivering the Beatrice Warde Memorial Lecture on ‘Invisible women: the contribution of Type Drawing Offices to 20th century type-making’ and also explain how historical research informs her approach to designing type.
