@Nick_Britten One of the many reforms coming out of the 2nd Anglo-Boer War was the creation of a Canadian Corps of Guides in 1903. Allocated in small numbers to District and Division HQs they had intelligence & survey duties. Absorbed into the staff during the #FWW, they were disbanded in 1928
