@Smv_Comics As a survivor of abuse, Magik is an important character. Having a character like Illyana shows readers that overcoming trauma is a lifelong process and it’s okay to struggle. She also shows readers that internal struggles can sometimes make you stronger.
“Healing old hurts can only begin when the children we once were feel safe enough to speak their hearts to the adults we are now.”
L.R. Knost
"Sometimes, things like childhood trauma don’t get better at the end of the issue. Having heroes like Illyana show readers that it’s okay to struggle with things. It also shows readers that internal struggles can oftentimes make you a lot stronger."

Kate and Illyana long before they were a member of the Quiet Council and a Krakoan War Captain.
I'd love a panel where someone tells Kate that she has something black on her lips. Kate acts surprised and wipes it off. The next panel we see Illyana with her makeup smudged around her mouth.
Hey Marvel, after the Labors of Magik storyline, I'd appreciate some follow-up on these pages.
