And WOW do I love @nathanfairbairn's color on this panel. Perry White's five o'clock shadow and drab, perfunctory necktie. Jimmy's side-buzz growing in. The way Nathan absolutely nailed Jimmy biting his lower lip. This is color as characterization.

Figure Drawing: Design and Invention by Michael Hampton. Maybe the best book of its kind out there. Combines the geometric approach of Bridgman w/ Loomis' more natural forms & clear diagrams. Great use of color, too!

THE CHANCELLOR AND THE CITADEL is my colleague @mariacfrantz's debut graphic novel. I had the privilege of seeing her work on it for more than a year, and now it's arriving in bookstores everywhere, so I drew some fan art to celebrate!
